the spring that holds my drivers side wiper down to the windshield has been broken, so i decided to finally order one from GM, it came in the other day and it was black. this was the only option for the G80(el camino) does anyone know where i can find a chrome one?

Why not transfer the spring from the new black one to your original chrome one?

and pay $30 for a little plasctic piece? no way. i cant even find any chrome ones for any G-Body or cadillac. i guess i will just go with the black and replace both sides.

not "incorect" they are just not as shiny.

Aren't the shiny ones correct for the car? That would make the dull service replacement ones incorrect. (from an originality stand point)
