Happy New Year all.

I could not find this question in the history.

I have a two-tone 86. I want to add the GM stock front chin/spoiler.

My question is, do I have I need to stud weld new fasteners on the fenders?

I know I need to delete the two tone trim. And repaint. Any install tips would help.

Thank you!

PB

It just bolts on ! I have seen some mounted with the two-tone molding But I don't know how they trim it to make it fit !!

I guess I would be one of those since we have one on both the 79 and the 86 and they are both conquistas and all the two tone trim is still in place.

It bolts on have to carefully trim around an inch off the top top get it to fit up tight to the trim. Use some 3M double sided tape to make sure it stays in place, at least thats what I had to do.

Speedy is correct. You place the spoiler on the car and trim it so it butts up against the trim. That's how mine is too.
