With the help of many here, I have received information on about 95% of the codes with the exception of these. D75, E7Z, MW9, 6XY, 7XY & 799

These may be minor, but did not locate them in the Master Index that a member sent me. Thanks for taking the time to locate any of these. Nick

D75 = front air deflector
MW9 = trans 4-spd th2004r

My book doesn't have the codes starting with numbers !
I don't see E7Z !

Hey Nick. Heres what I came up with.

EZ7 = Some thing to do with the Speedometer.
6XY = Spring,computer selected,front, left hand side.
7XY = spring,computer selected,front, right hand side.
799 = Seat belt color, Ruby red (93)

Great, that takes care of four, still missing D7S, E7Z & MW9. Possibly some others will solve this small mystery. Thanks for this. Nick

D7S : GEAR, SPEEDO DRIVEN
D7Z : GEAR, SPEEDO DRIVEN
E7Z : SENSOR VEH SPD - DELETE
MW9 : TRANSMISSION, AUTO 4 SPD, THM 200, CONV CLUTCH


Guessing that D7S may be D7Z since I have found it always seems to go hand and hand with the E7Z. They both show as the same.


Two different places show D75 if it happens to be that as
D75 Door handles, body-color
D75 HANDLE O/S, DR, BODY COLOR
Not familiar with an El Camino's that would have those factory.
