Small piece of hard plastic tubing. Glued to the trim ring, it allows full movement of the knob while stopping all the rattles!

Now I can finally find that snake.

Stuff stains your hands and the scissors , ill try acetone ...

It took 1 6"x75' roll to do both doors & panels. Makes a big difference for $30 & 4 hours. The stereo is louder.

If I were a jarhead, I would glue some flak jackets in the doors.

Seamsealed the whole floor 9" roll was perfect.

Ordered new carpet locally ($66), will cut & install next week

if anybody wants great pricing on sound deadeners, i would go with RATTLETRAP under a compnay called FATMAT, i know they have their own website which i believe is "FATMAT.COM" or u can just find them on EBAY

They have 50mil or 80mil personally i've always used hte 80mil, 100 sq ft for $199 is a great deal! u can line the whole car with two layers and have enough left over for under the hood or a friend/family's car need be...

The weathershield is .80 per foot, it does not have the heat protection you get for 2. per foot.

How heavy is the stuff? Did your cruck gain 10 lbs?

Yea 10 lb. I've installed 100' and probably 50' more to do on the firewall and smug box, Ill wait on the ceiling until It goes. More stereo upgrade than a 10 lb amp.

here's how to hold the accel pedal out of the way. Sewed it all with dental floss (should outlast the car, and after the apocalypse Ill have clean teeth).

3 coats of gloss black and I'll install tomorrow.

The heat molded carpet is almost 200 delivered. Leaves a much better look, but where's the fun in that. With $60 and 2 days of backbreaking labor I got it done. Guess I'll cut and sew that big wrinkle.
