Hey, would putting a 19"X30" sunroof in an 80 Elky weaken the top structure of the cab? I mean I know it would, but would it hurt putting one in? It get's so hot in there.

There were lots of sun roofs installed by both dealers and aftermarket companys in 5th gen Elkys. It should not affect structural integrity.

I have had close to that size on mine for 8 to 9 years with no problems at all.

Can i just take any old sunroof and stick in in my elky.. with a little body work I think i could.. but I'm not sure.. Ebay has sunroofs going for cheap and everyone knows A/C robs horsepower :cool:
