I read a post presented to the group in region 18, where they were asked, as a group in whole, a question, that I hope Mr. Fin does not mind me using it, as I think it applies to this region as well, so here it is:

What do each of you members want to get out of your membership? Are you,
A) Only interested in the online technical support and chat?
B) Enjoy the online portion but looking to participate in local meets and other club functions?
C) Interested in A & B but would also be interested in a regional cruise or get together?
D) Interested in something not listed above? (please define.)

I would like to have every member of region 7 respond to this thread. Whether you have been a long time member that rarely posts, an avid contributor, or a new member like myself, let us know what you are here for. Only by understanding your motivations can we fulfill those needs. So help me and Canted out with your feed back on this. Thanks

How about it AL-GA-Tenn? Yall got your ears on? Pongo is asking for your input. Now I know Tennesse is the home of the volunteers, so who's first?

my answer is C. I enjoy the forums and i would like to take my elky to a cruise or show in region 7.

I will go with C also, BUT i'm in the atlanta ga. area and it seems most everything going on is in north alabama or the chattanooga area and it's really hard to go that far for a couple hours.

I can understand what you mean, region 7 covers a big area. I would like to see region 7 members start getting togather locally, all over the area, for example an Atlanta group, a Nashville group, a Birmingham group, a south Georgia group, etc.. If we can get smaller groups active in their local area, them maybe we can plan a once a year whole region get togather some where in the middle. Might even get one of the smaller group's to host the yearly event. And each year a differnt smaller group, gould take turns hosting the yearly event. What do you think of that ? I hope you can understand what I am trying to say, I have trouble some times turning my thoughts, into words. I would love some feed back on this idea.
