Thanks to Arnie who reminded me through another post to get the ball rolling on some ideas and members. Trying to find out who all is out there I know there are a few of you who poke around on here from time to time but don't log in all the time. If you see this post just log in and say hey so I know who is out there.

Along with that I know there is no way I can hit all the cruises and shows that the members in Iowa attend but please tell on this post. I will try to get a schedule put together of all the dates and cruise nights that our members attend. Never know who will show up if we get it out there.

I attend the Bologna Nationals in Pella Iowa every year I took my camino last year and my dads chevelle. The dates this year is are July 6 and 7. Its full of projects and show cars its a good time every year kinda a cruise and show all in one. You can register day of show or pre if anyone would like some info for pre register please let me know and as soon as I get my info I will e-mail it to you. Or any info you may want about it this will be the 5th year I have gone.

I am up for any cruise nights anybody goes too. I will try to attend may be a drive for me but I will try. Hope we can get something together this year and grow our club reputation. Can't wait to see how the year turns out.

Working on restoration on a 78 (I believe is an SS). Engine work is done. Punched out 070, Edelbrock performer mani and 1406 carb, headers, 072 dwell cam. Am currently working on interior. I've got the steering column dis-assembled to replace turn signal bracket. Have dash pad to install and am changing the interior color from saddle tan to grays and reds. If I can ever get the darn thing licensed, I may even hit the road with it this spring. I need to find someone who knows what they are doing as I need to tune it since the engine rebuild. This baby needs almost everything; exterior work and paint along with the interior rebuild. I look forward to the pleasure of getting it back on the road in style. See you on the highway.
Too Many Miles.

Hello, I am the proud owner of some rusty gold here in iowa! Own a 1977 SS elky original 350 4 barrel. Also have a 1981 and 1982. the 82 is driveable but am currently busy making it look cool. Am planning on cruising out to red rock lake with said 82 this july to see what the cruise in is all about. Just need a transmission before I take her for a three hour ride!

I'm still out here in SW IA. I'm recovering from a total knee replacement last month, so probably won't get the 69' put together before next year.Bob
