my vin reads TW80HAR500665 what is the T and can anyone help me with the 500665???

00665 is the production number !

The numbers that you really want to check is your Fisher Build Tag. It should be right in front of the windshield on the driver's side, right by the wiper arms. That is coding from when they built the car to determine the stock options. It'll tell you if it's v6 or v8, standard or auto, bucket vs. bench, interior/exterior colors, etc. There is a thread under interior resto I think that will give you an idea for some of it, but post it and I'm sure someone will be able to decode it for you.

ive got most of it decoded already but for my year my first digit should be a 1 but its a T. came wit a 305 so i was happy to see that it was a v8 made in tx gmc but the T is puzzeling?

the first digit identifies the division !
1= Chevrolet
T/5= GMC
