1983 El Camino, good body, one or two small dents, needs engine (gaskets shot). This was my son's, and when it broke down, he bought a Camaro. Now city is on my tail about inoperative vehicle in drive. It was California driven until brought to Illinois 3 years ago. Have kept it under wraps to protect good body. MUST sell this week - or at least before the 4th of July. $350 and you tow. Please help a desperate mom! Located in Batavia, Ill - just north of Aurora.

I took a quick look at this car. It's definately worth the money to someone.

The Good:
Rust free body (the lower door seems are just starting to get a little rust)
Blue on Blue
Good bumpers, tailgate, glass and front clip
Trailer hitch (frame mounted, receiver type)
Gauges

The Bad
305 Engine as mentioned
Rear makes noise (I didin't hear it. May just need fluid. Joe has a spare 7½" rear also)
Good sized dent on ¼ panel
Interior a little rough, bench seat (as expected on a $350 car)

I didn't get under it to look at the underside. If you're looking to put a different drivetrain in an El Camino, this is a good body. Well worth the money in parts.

Also, I have a good running El Camino with a bad body that I'm willing to sell. Good 305, good rear, buckets/console, passed emissions. Combing the two would give you a good truck (just not a project for me).
