Will a complete Frt. Clip from a 87 Monte SS fit on my 85 Elky?

Will the fenders, hood etc. line up, are the body lines the same?

I have a complete 87 Monte SS that the frame and floors are toast
and I would like to make the SS nose swap to my Elky.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I just looked at my 87 Elky and my 86 MCSS side by side and I've got some opinions. :idea:

1. In order for the MCSS doghouse to fit you'll need to swap the doors too. The doors on the Elky are shorter than the MCSS by 1/2". There would be a big gap where the fender and door meet if you don't swap the doors.

2. Even if the door were 1/2" longer, the body lines from the MCSS fender will not match up with the Elky body lines.

3. If you swap the MCSS doghouse and the MCSS doors, the body lines on the MCSS doors would not match the body lines in front of the rear Elky wheels.

If you really want a MCSS nose on your Elky buy the nose from Lauren Engineering or Honest Charley. :)
