Howdy, guys...
Can y'all help me decipher my axle code ? in an '82 w/a 305/th350, stock rear, no RPO codes :( ...

I Think the # on the front pass tube is 2AZ C195 2 and there's a BH stamped under that ( at least I thinkthere was, was sure I saw it , but I may have scrubbed it off 8O )...
I tried to figure it out on :
http://www.gnttype.org/numbers/axcodes.html
but I'm not sure..... There's an AZ in '82 w/a 2.41 , but the mysterious BH code is listed in '81 as a 2.29 .


Whatdda y'all think? Am I close ? Or do I have togo back under and scrub some more?

It's a 2:41

The standard axle in the 5th gen with a V8 was the 2.41 and the "Performance Ratio" (G92) was a 3.08

AZ is a 2.41
C is the manufacturing plant
192 is the day of the year it was made
2 is the shift
