There's a fifth gen on a car lot near me for sale, they want $1495. I'm not sure of the year, It's brown, has the chrome rails running down the top sides of the bed, rims with the ovals in them, plus chrome beauty rings.

It looks above average.

Sorry, they sold it. It was a 79, small 267ci v-8, lots of body rust, interior not bad.

They wanted $1495 for it, the car lot paid $800, they sold it for $1400.

Yes, it was in Western Hills. That's where I live.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like they managed to make a few bucks on the deal. Don't sell that 267 short. That is what I have in my '82 and it runs better than my brother's 302 in his '81.

Have lots of family in Cinti. I taught at Oak Hills HS for about 12 years. Lived off Neeb Rd. in Delhi.

Don't sell that 267 short. That is what I have in my '82 and it runs better than my brother's 302 in his '81. I think you probably mean a 305. If your brother has an original Chevy 302 LT1 in his 81, and unless it's a dog, he should be able to beat just about anything in Cincinnati.

:oops: :oops: Mea Culpa. My brother and I have 35 cars between us, mostly Ford and GM so sometimes I get a cube or three off!!!
