i know where i can get a header pannel for an 86 for $100.00. which is not a bad deal. i'm thinking about getting it and doing some custom work to i like mounting either monte carlo ls head lights or head lights from an early 90's model silverado. and taking the grill and making it look like an old pontiac grill and recessing it back. what ya think.

I think you have a great idea with the recesed grill. Maybe you'd consider recesing the lights to? One of the new painted f/b bumper replacements or a modified, tighter fitting OE bumper would best go with that look I think! :cool:
