: Locked out of the site

I seem to have been locked out of the house without a key.

I have tried several times to log in with my screen name “60ElCam” and my password, but a couple weeks or ago, the password did not work. I tried every password I could think of, figuring I forgot it. So I gave up on that and asked the system to send me my password. It sent me two things, a confirmation number and a new random password for me to log in and then I could make a new password once I logged in.

Well, the confirmation number works and gets me to the log in screen, but the new password does not work at all. I went through the process again, getting another password, which also did not work.

Can you help me or have I been shunned from the pack? I don’t remember exchanging any unpleasant words with members recently, so I’m hoping it is merely a glitch.

The only way I am actually posting here is I re-registered with a new name and password just to post the problem. Also, there is no way that I could find to e-mail the webmaster of the site unless registered with a password and I posted the problem here. Is there a link on the home page? I thought I found one that goes to Acauth1@elcaminocentral.com, but it gets bounced back . . .

Help - I don't know what I'm doing wrong here and I'm Jonesin' to get back in the house . . .

Thanks,

Dan (60Elky, A.K.A. 60ElCam)

Damn I thought we had finally gotten rid of you.

:P  :P

I know Robert is doing a number of upgrades to the system so a problem may have developed that he doesn't know about. That is his email addy so I would suggest you try PMing him and I'm sure he'll get you fixed up.

Hell, you can't get rid of me that easily . . .

All I have to do is change my alias. Maybe next time I should be more creative with the name.

FYI - I did e-mail to that address again and it was bounced back with the following script:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <Acauth1@elcaminocentral.com>

Your bounced email message looks like the address was either incorrect or he changed his ISP in which case the same issue could show up. :-)
