Good morning everyone,
Just wanted to keep you all informed of the 5th annual TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN MUSCLECARS car show put on by The Firebirds Forever Car Club. Our very own Region 2 member Roxie Zwicker is President of this club.

Saturday July 31, 2004 at Hebert's Candy Mansion, 575 Hartford Turnpike, Route 20 Shrewsbury, Mass. With a raindate of Sunday August 1, 2004. You'll be parked on the lawn at Hebert's beautiful location. All vehicles are welcomed - and we get some of the best American Muscle Cars in New England, too. El Caminos are welcome to enter our trucks class! Our great trophies sponsored by Pell Pontiac of Westboro, Massachusetts!

You can check out our class lineup and registration form http://www.firebirdsforever.cc/forms/classes04.doc 90 trophies and 25 classes. Many specialty awards. Peer judged. Every New England state was represented in 2003. For even more information and pictures of previous year's shows - visit www.firebirdsforever.cc

I'm going to try and make it. Just have to juggle a few family items. 8-)

Let me know if you are going or need more info.

Today is the day for this show. Weather is supposed to be hot and humid, around 90???

Anybody else going? I'm going to enter the '73 in the "Truck" class and see what happens. Suppose to be over 200 Firebirds and another 100 or so muscle cars of all makes. Check out their web site. Looks like it should be a great show.

Hey, they don't make Firebirds anymore, do they??? Kinda remind you of another vehicle that is out of production??

A very hot and humid day for a car show. Tons of Firebirds, Trans Am's,
GTO's, etc. I was the only El Camino. I had the choice between the car class and the truck class.

Decided to go into the truck class for the peoples judged show. It turned out to be a good idea. The '73 Elky SS "Premonition II" took first place! The other "truck" guys were a little pissed, but hey, I have a car / I have a truck.

Whenever there is not a good "El Camino" class, I'm heading for my comfort zone of trucks everytime.

Thanks Roxie for the invite. Your club put on a good show. Was it hot/humid or what? Lucky the wind was blowing a little.

Just a few pic's, no other Elky's but me, but check out this motor on the Trans Am. (http://webpages.charter.net/jlevitan1/carshow04/firebird0731/page1.html)
