Hey guys, i was thinking of going to an aluminum drive shaft for my 78 elco,any pros/cons besides the price of course?? Looking to loose some rotating mass.

No con that I know of. My '02 Camaro came stock with one. I also got one for the El since I needed a new one after the motor/tranny swap.

And since you're close you can get one from Inland Driveline in Ontario. No shipping costs if you pick it up. It took them 1 day to make mine.

yes I talked to Robert over there.what tranny are you running if a th350 what were your measurments or maby we sould hook up this weekend and you could help me out with measuring?

4L60E tranny (electronic 700R). I can meet up if you want to help you measure. Let me know.

EDIT: or if you want we can measure my old driveshaft I had a th350 before.

After all the problems I've had with my rear end swap, I think my wallet floated away! :lol:
