Hey Guys and Gals,
The starter went out on my GMC and had to replace it today, While I was looking around I found the casting # on the block. Now I don't think it's the original but the # intrigues me (3970010) from what i've read on the net it's either a HI-PO 327 or a HI-PO 350. When I bought the truck the block had been decked so I Can't get the vin# from the front and I have the Camelhump heads on it too. When I get new valve covers I'll look for the casting # on it. I know there at least the 300 horse but I hope there the 350 horse heads.
