Welp, finally started my 355 yesterday and broke in the cam! What a feeling! Open headers and the smell of the paint burning off'em. Wow is all I can say!
Two minor leaks, one was the high pressure line into the power steering pump, some num-nutz forgot to tighten the fitting. Ran flawlessly for the entire break-in period. Little tweak here and there and we were great to go...
Needless to say Peter is one very happy camper! :D
In my excitement I forgot the engine spec.'s!
SB 355, KB hyperteutic pistons, 882 76cc heads gasket matched, Manley SS 2:02/1:6 valves, 3 angle valve job, guide plates under 7/16" screw in rocker studs, 1.6 Cat roller rockers, Comp Cam XE274H, Air Gap RPM performer intake, 750 Edlebrock carb, race prepped TH350 with custom shift kit & 2,500 stall conv. flowing thru 1 3/4" Hedman Hedders. Est. HP ~425 @ the flywheel, ~390 @ the RW 8O
