I'm not sure, I've never seen one on an Elky. But, based on Chevelles and other Chevy's, I'd say the right fender, top, close to the windsheild.

Put it where you want, it's your car.

Let us know what you decide, send pics when it's done.

I'm not sure if you have any type of antenna already, (I thought they all came with them) but I tried putting one in the stock position on my car and there is no easy way to make it straight. It's always pointing towards one way or the other. My advice is move it closer to the windsheild than the stock location and make sure it gets AM. My dad went nuts after spending over $600 in radio stuff and ending up with a crooked antenna that doesn't get AM.

I have an option Brochure on the Later Model Elky--and a Power Antenna I believe was an option on some !!!!!!----I have an After Market Type that is almost Identical to the one in my 81 Riviera ---However That one fits in the Trunk and Has lots of Room. I am thinking Closer to the Windshield sounds like a Good Idea !!!!! Thanks for the advise----If I get it figured out I'll sure let you guys Know !!! Any other suggestions would be Great---Don :D 8O

You can use a universal mount power antenna mounted in the factory location. The antenna is relatvely easy to install by removing the bolts at the back of the passenger side wheel well and wedging a block of wood between the fender and the wheel well while you install it. The wiring is a little hard to fish through in the same location as your current antenna wire runs. Took me a little over an hour to do mine.

I basically Removed the Inner fender and Located the 3/4" Hole Just above the Hood Rubber Mount 13" from the Tip of the Fender on the Passenger Side---this is close to the Fender Brace so its kinda Ticky getting it in --------This Kit is a neat one---not too hard to Figure out ---Fished wires through and had to add an antenna wire Extension. Works great and Tightened up nice and Straight. Thanks for all the advice !!!!
