Did any of you guys catch the San Ramon Hot Rod Show today?
I just got back and it wasn't bad at all, considering it was the first. There were some very decent ECs, one blue '72 SS was most impressive. The Chevelles and Novas were also well represented. And, oh yeah, there were some other cars there... I think :-P
I am definately putting it on my calender for next year.
Maaaaybe by then, we'll have local NECOA representation from...US!
You know US... The most unsocialble group of wanna be car nuts this side of Bakersfield. No diss, LA :-P
US... Me, you, and all the other SF Bay Area NECOA members and friends who sit on thier cans and read these long-winded posts, instead of getting out there and enjoying your ride.
I plan to attend the last two of Danville's Hot Summer Nights ( 8-12 & 8-26). If any of youz are going, gimme a ping, maybe we can hook up.
I am 85% confident that I can score us a parking area which is right at the beginning of the show on the main street (Hartz Ave). This is a very exclusive area and is not open to the public. My fiance is the manager for the property owner. And we could park there FREE!
My ride is far from show quality, even at a local level, but this would allow us have a presence without actually entering the show.
Talk to me guys/gals!
