Hello, I read what "ElCamino84TEXAS " had said and it seems to be the same problem I have.
With the AC on HI and on Max, the vent near the drivers door seems to get the least amount of air. It would seem that there should be more. I checked best I could and under the dash near the floor vents behind the ash tray I feel the cool air coming out of the vents.
Guess the first question is if that is normal.
If not, I checked to see if there was a loose hose, but it is cramp in there and didnt see anything. I just dont know what it could be...any help would be great. Thanks

The driver's dash vent is the farthest away from the blower motor and distribution box, so it will be of lower air volume.

This is also normal...you will have a slight amount of air being dumped on to the floor in "max" "a/c" and "defrost."
Unfortunately, this is the way GM designed the system...why? Who knows.
Of course, this is not to say that you do not have a restriction in your distribution box causing a problem with your driver's vent.

You should feel a little more flow in max.
oh also when I accessed the inside of the dash by opening the glove box, I could feel cool air blowing inside the cavity area near the air tubing that feeds the three on the passenger side....not sure if thats normal or something loose or needing of repair...thanks again

Hmmm....may have a leak in the distribution box or ducting....could also have an aftermarket blower motor wired backwards.
Is there a way to check??? also on the wiring??

Well, look for the molded plug on the blower motor, should be purple wire and black should be ground. Also, make sure the motor has a good ground.
