Any suggestions for parts e.g. outside mirrors, some trim, steering wheel, etc. for my '69 El Camino. I would prefer somewhere near the East Bay (I live in Concord). If necessary I'll take on-line sites. I am also looking for a place to find the best price on an Edelbrock 1400 carb. and performance manifold. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks, Bonnie

Good Luck, Bonnie. We're pretty parts poor out here in the East Bay, but there are a few resellers. I believe Jim Dyer is out your way. they have some good stuff but a a lil' pricey. You might come out to the Good guys Show n Swap meet this week-end. All the major classic chevy parts guys are usually there.
Check reseller links on this site and on chevelles.com. Try Craigslist for local swappers and there's always Ebay!
I got some trim and misc. junk left over from my roofsteration. What do ya need?

Bonnie, for speed parts Jegs.com or Summit.com you can't go wrong. For trim items OPG is pretty thorough, if it's available they have it or can get it. Locally you can call Matts gm parts i think in Concord or there is Chevyland in Rancho Cordoba if you don't mind a bit of a drive (1 hour from my place).

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll check them out. I thought the show this week-end is mainly for cars that are older classics ( 40's and 50's).

Hey! I don't get a chance to visit often, so seeing a new director to our region was a surprise! Congratulations, Danny! And a rider too, huh?! Cool... is that a Super Glide I see?
