ok I own an 86 El Camino Choo Choo custom SS. I have owned it for about 8 years now and with 78,000 miles on the engine, I think it might be time to swap it. My pal has an 87 grand national motor with turbo, computer, and wire harness. I wonder if this could work and if anyone has tried this before. And if you have done it, what problems will I run into?

I believe he used a donor car for both drivetrain and front body panels. See if he has an e-mail link on that page and send him an e-mail.
The link from Poltergeist was good with GN part names and GM parts numbers listed.

Go to www.turbobuicks.com they have a forum set up specifically for non Buick cars with GN motor and trannies. These guys know their $hit, they dip into the 9's in street cars. Be forewarned though, the GN needs a lot of tlc and $. They'revery tempermental and you will have traction problems. Do it though!
