Use a copper core plug because they have the widest heat range but avoid resistor plugs. If you got a lot of money the platinum center electrode plugs are very good and last a long long time; but unless you plan on keeping them for 50000+ miles they are not cost effective. Use a spiral core wire because they have the least resistance (radio suppression type) and will last a long time. Make sure you check the HEI cap and rotor carefully.

Mrapii, you have my curiosity up. Why should resister plugs be avoided?? I've never heard anyone suggest this. Thanksfor your reply!!

Resistor plugs were developed to provide radio suppression. Now manufacturers know that using suppressor sparkplug wires is more effective. Using resistor plugs and suppression wiring is unecessary and having a resistor in the sparkplug is just one more thing to go wrong.
