If you got a lot of money the platinum center electrode plugs are very good and last a long long time; but unless you plan on keeping them for 50000+ miles they are not cost effective. Use a spiral core wire because they have the least resistance (radio suppression type) and will last a long time. Make sure you check the HEI cap and rotor carefully. pops86 08-31-2004, 07:44 PM Mrapii, you have my curiosity up. Why should resister plugs be avoided?? I've never heard anyone suggest this. Using resistor plugs and suppression wiring is unecessary and having a resistor in the sparkplug is just one more thing to go wrong. | ||
