I learned of this from another Elky list.

Today, Ray Buck is undergoing quadruple heart bypass surgery. For those of you who don't know Ray, he is the owner of www.chevyasylum.com and an avid El Camino, Monte Carlo, and Nova enthusiast from way back. It seems that Ray has been around forever. He always documented his projects well, and his pages at the Chevy Asylum have helped many g-body owners.

He's a cantankerous old fart so he should pull through OK. But, please say a small prayer and keep him in your thoughts today with wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thanks.

I second that emotion!

But, please say a small prayer and keep him in your thoughts today with wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thanks.

While I don't know Ray I know his site from way back. Hope it gets better soon.

Luckly for Ray there have been great strides in this area. My Dad has quad bypass 3 times now. The last time the very next day they had it butt out of bed and walking!

Does anyone have a home email or street address for Ray? I'd like to send him a get-well card on behalf of our members who benefit from his work. Reply via email to judgeharris@comcast.net Thanks

Ray came out of surgery last night around 11:00 pm (9 hours) and is doing as well as can be expected. He will be in ICU for 2-3 days then go to a private room for another 4-5.

Thanks to all of you for the prayers.
