Anyone here in the columbus area know where to I can take my Elky and have the exhaust redone the way i want it.

I currently have the stock setup with the converter. I want to lose the converter and run headers, extension pipe and a couple of flowmasters 40series...

I've talked to a couple shops and they say that they have to leave the converter on because EPA... but we don't have inspection here in ohio.

Does anyone know of a shop that they use that will do what i want?

Thanks
Ray

From my experience most shops have to leave the converter in place if the car came in with it.I took my '81 Malibu in with open headers and the shop had no problem running duals out the back.Just remove the converter before you take it in.

So what do you do with all the emission parts? We're in the opposite position, looking to have an Elky that will pass PA emissions. Keep your parts in case you sell to one of us "enviromentally correct" state residents.
