We had over 225 vehicles attend and that doesn't even count the ones that arrived after the registration deadline!!! We gave away $482.00 to the 50/50 raffle winner (collected $964.00 total). There were tons of good food, prizes and giveaways. A guy from Billerica, MA won the toolbox full of tools (over $2200.00 worth) The contest I liked best was the frozen t-shirt contest!!! Two couples had to battle over a prize by unrolling/unfreezing and putting on a frozen t-shirt that was rolled into a ball. It was really funny!
We already are planning next years show to make it bigger and better!!! 8)

There was one 1970 El Camino there and I believe he broght home a trophy!! :-D

I think there is a good chance on getting that El Camino class for next year. They seemed really receptive and excited about it! Especially if a club commits to attending next years show! (I just want to get an official ruling at the meeting before giving any misenterpreted information) How many vehicles usually go to a show from this club?

How was the show that you guys attened? Sure was great weather for a show! :)

Hey Michelle. Congrats on a great show. Sounds like you all had a great time.
The S. Attleboro Lions club show was pretty good also. Lots of great cars and the weather was very good.
There was an El Camino / Ranchero class. We had four members bring their Elky's and two others brought Ranchero's.
ECC member "Montego" (Mark and Laurie) took second place and I took third. Sad to say one of the Ranchero's took first place. :?

I would believe, especially with plenty of advance planning, we should be able to get at least half a dozen El Camino's to come to next year's show. Throw in a few non-members El Camino's and a few Rancheros’ and you would have a pretty good competition.

Please keep me informed as I'm already trying to get an idea of where the regional members want to attend car shows for next year.
