Our prayers are with you all, and hope nothing serious happened to you or your families.

Let us know if we can help with anything.

I'll second that. This hurricane stuff is crazy. I was in Daytona for Frances. We lost power, but had no property damage. I'll be glad when hurricane season is over.

i stayed in panama city for ivan.the storm wasn't too bad,but the tornadoes (up to F3) really did some damage.at last count,9 twisters ripped across bay county, killed 15 people and destroyed 200 buildings(mostly homes).thankfully my family and i were not injured.a news interview said a man was standing in his florida room watching the storm.all of a sudden a 30foot oak tree was yanked out of the ground like he was weeding his garden!!!...a 30 foot oak tree!!now we have jean coming and another right behind her.don't know about y'all, but i'm ready for cooler weather :?

I'm in Navarre (near P-Cola). The Diablo's home was destroyed, 20x20 carport. From now on he'll be out in the sun until I find out what can be done. Lots of offers to help rebuild so I might take up some of them.

My shed with all the spare parts. Just gone. I have no idea where it went. Among it was my GMC hood ornament. :( Also in the shed was 2 lawn mowers, a leaf blower, a chainsaw, ton of oil, & 2 weedeaters. Everything is gone. Also lost my shed I keep my riding mower in, luckily I moved the Diablo in the garage along with my rider.

I had several thousand dollars worth of damage but consider myself lucky. I have neigbors who have nothing left. A bit of roof, lots of trees, my sheds and bunch of other stuff is all that I have gone. No power is to be expected for quite a while and water is soon to run out. The price of living in paradise. 8)

wow Diablo, I am amazed that your house and Cabellero were spared. Sorry to hear about all the rest.

I cant do much about your power, but if you need some food or water, or even a place to store the Diablo for a while (I know Jacksonville is too far for that to be practical, but the offer stands anyway).

Do keep us informed of progress, and if you know of any of the other panhandle members situation, please let us know of that as well.

thanks.

The Diablo is OK, family is OK and I have a decent place to stay while power is out. I am thankful. Thanks for the offer.

I saw a 68 Chevelle that I had noticed while I was evacuating. It had all the marking of a little old lady car. Dog dish hubcaps, bias ply tires etc. On the way back it was still in the carport but the land behind the house was a battle zone. It was an area where the Blountstown Tornados came through. The trees looked like someone took a giant samuri sword and chopped them 30 feet up. Incredible sight. Later I'll post photos of the carport damage I had in my album.

Got a pic up of my carport damage from Ivan in my gallery.

Now he's getting pine sap all over him as well as my junky window seals need replaced so it's not doing the doors justice. Hope the insurance company is fair as this carport wasn't cheap and won't be cheap to replace. :(

BTW! I found my GMC hood ornament!!!!! Still lost an assortment of spare marker lights, taillights etc.
