The show was AWESOME!!! They had to close the gates for registration at 11:00 cause there was no more room to put cars! LOTS of giveaways. The DJ was EXCELLENT and of course 236 beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles!!! Best of show went to a HUGE tow truck. The trophy was at least 6 1/2 feet tall. The raffle was an engine.

Oh yeah, I won second place in my class!!!

Sounds like a great show Michelle. Sorry I had to miss it... family commitments. I'll have to get this show on next years schedule. If you have next years date , please let me know.

Also, congrats on your win!

Thanks Jay! :-D

I don't know a date (for sure) yet for next year but it is typically the same weekend every year. The next ECCC meeting is on Oct 17th. I will be pressing them to solidify next years dates for both shows(ECCC and DeSantis). Also I will be bringing up the request for an ElCamino/Ranchero class. I've got some new ideas to improve the show flyer, etc.. Rumor has it that they want me on the board. I hope they know what they are getting!!!

I still have not recovered yet, I'm so tired!!! :sleepy: LOL We had to get up at 5:00am to meet the other members of the ECCC in Burlington to caravan down together. I have a pre-teen and a teeneager!!! Not only did I have to get myself up and out the door on time but them too. That is no easy feat! We all worked the show. It was fun but it was a looooong day. I think I'm ready for the off-season. LOL I got one more parade to go to (weather permitting) on Halloween then I will be putting my baby away for the winter.
