What's so special or not so, about the Conquista model Elky?

I think the Conquista is the loaded luxury model of the El Camino. That's special in its self.

He's right, the Conquista is the spruced-up version. all cosmetic. My 81 Conquista has the extra chrome around the box, A.C., cruise, PW, and full guage package ( with tack/clock combo) and two-tone paint. I think they look great!! ( not that I'm parcial or anything!) As for the frame rust, Thats a big problem here in Michigan. I had to swap the frame out. As a matter of fact, I've done the switch on two of my three EC's (the third needs it too, but twice is enough. It' not as bad a job as you might at first think. Takes me about 2-3 weeks working 4-5 week-nights and week-ends. Good luck with your new ride. Fix it up and ride with pride!
