Well,
I have figured out the problem with my GMC "running out of fuel" under heavy loads. Turns out it was that cheap $10 fuel pressure regulator I picked up at the local Schucks. Just some advice, stay away from the Spectre pressure regulators, the ones with the 'dial' for settings. I yanked that off and put a fuel filter in it's place, and it just runs so much better now!
I will be taking it to the dragstrip tonight. Portland International Raceway, in Portland, Oregon, is where I will be from 8pm-1am. It would be nice if anybody local to the area came out for a visit, maybe a little grudge match :). Don't worry, last time I ran a 19 second time, :\. But I have ran a 14.72@99 a few days after I got the car, and before the timing chain, exhaust, and a few other small stuff, at max 10hp. My goal is to at LEAST pull a 14.99. But I wouldn't be surprised if a 14.59 or better came around.
If you do decide to show up, just look for the green '76 GMC Sprint.
