Figure I'd post this up and get peoples opinion on how its sounds like its running. I think I still have a slight miss. I think I had the mic a little too close to the tips

This is from my 1974 Elky.

SB400 stock manifolds, 2 barrel carb, no cats, dual exhaust, uncertain OEM style muffler.

Any tips or feedback is appreciated. Not the highest quality recording since it was done with a cheapy mic connected to my laptop :)

:lol: :lol: Sounds like it runs on gas of a different kind! Really, the idle at least sounded good. It broke up when you reved it though :-(

yeah prob had the mic too close to the tip. previous owner claimed it had an "RV" cam but I thinking that was just cause it was running like crap and sounded like it had a cam. As far as I know it sounds like a standard chevy small block of its era with no cats.
