Hi group,
I have a 1981 Elcamino and have two wires (one black, one green) coming out of the firewall they are taped up. Where do they go to or from?
Are these for the wipers?

Need more info such as which side of firewall, top or bottom of firewall, is any voltage present on wires with ignition switch on or off, etc. Need as much info as possible, even if it seems irrelevant to you when you are making your list.

buy the service manual in paper or on CD. has all the wiring diagrams.

As was said, more info is neccesary. But let me say that on a 79 drivers side front fender a green wire is used for the horns. Black is typically a ground.

i dunno if u found out yet, but i belive it is for your tachometer and the ground coming from the ignition coil or distributor. I know cause i hooked up a tach to my elko and those are the wires. I may be 50% wrong tho.
