Okay, I know a lot of people think the carbon fiber hood is an import look, but I've started seeing a lot of old mustangs and GTOs with them on, and I've learned to like it. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can buy a carbon fiber hood (or get one made) for my '85 Elky. Not SS, standard. If anybody knows, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Do you have a good custom paint shop near you. I've seen faux carbon fiber hoods that are so realistic you have to knock on them to tell it's fake. I doubt that there is enough demand for someone to make the real thing.

If the price was near reasonable, I think I'd get a real carbon fiber hood. That would really look cool with my black paint and save a little weight. MAYBE it would fit better than the fiberglass one I have now and not warp either :?
