I cant seem to figure out which wire is which though since the previous owner had the radio just sitting in the slot but not connected. I got a black 1 a yellow 1 and a greenish gray 1 and i have no idea which is which. ive blow a few fuses tryin different combos but still no good :-( . Do i need an amp? i have no idea.

When i wired my radio I used the black wire as the ground, and i ran the red and yellow directly to the fuse box. The red on the new radio connects to an ignition output that only has power when the key is on. The yellow wire connects to a constant powered output on the fuse box. This wire is what keeps power to the new radio to store memorized stations. There are extra connections on the fuse box marked "ign" and "batt". Use a 12 volt test light if you are not sure. Use a "male" spade terminal to connect to the fuse box, the wires will just plug in. . There should also be a green/gray combo and brown/yellow (I think) that are the wires for the factory front speakers. Follow the new radio wire diagram to connect these. That should be all you need to know. -Matt

You could use the black as your ground, and run the other 2 wires directly to the fuse box. Factory radio did not have a constant power wire because they did not store preset radio stations. There should be a wire that "powers on" with ignition or Acc with the key already there along with the ground (black). if not just run them both to the fuse box, it's the easiest way. The wires for the speakers (4 of them L+,L- & R+,R- ) should be there already they will not have to be run.

The speakers in the dash aren't too bad to change, you will just need a short philips head screwdriver to get the screws. You will need 3 1/2" speakers. Good Luck, and I am glad i could help! -Matt
