anyone know if there is a way to get off the vin number what the orrigional colors of the veh. were?

Paint codes are not in the VIN number. The codes will be located on the Body Number plate (Cowl Tag) under the hood on the top driver side of the firewall near the windshield wiper arm shaft.

Post all of the plate info here and somebody will decode it for you.

Hey Maclyn. Going by your cowl tag, the upper and lower paint code is #29. That is the Dark Blue Poly. What color is it now?

Some other info from the cowl tag is.
24V is Lt. Blue vinyl interior trim code. A52 is bench. 11A is build date of the first week of Nov.

Not sure of the rest of the numbers.

it does have a like baby blue interior...really not sure about keeping that one...
