The last cruise of the Blue Moon Cruisers Rod & Custom Assoc. had a total of seven Elkys show up. Six of us managed to park together. Our esteemed Regional Director, Byran was there.
Also, one of the owners, Gene Shell, of the Lebanon area is interested in forming a local El Camino car club. If anyone in the area is interested you can reach him at schell38@msn.com for details.
I'll post a couple pictures as soon as I get them on the BMC website.

Jim, thanks for posting ... I've been meaning to get this posted. I'm hoping more of the members from Central PA start posting here and we can get something a little larger together in the spring.
Anyways ... here is a picture I took of the 6 Elky's which parked together ... it was a really cool thing!

Bryan - nice picture - identical to one of mine. Only trouble is you took it from the WRONG end of the line.
Had an unexpected funeral to attend up near Erie or I would have had my pictures posted. Soon.

Sorry to hear about the funeral.
I would have liked to have taken one from the front, but the sun was just too bright, way too much glare from the shining elkys!!!
Can't wait to see your pictures.

Nice showing guys. Always nice to see a good "Elky" turnout. A minor suggestion if you don't mind. Maybe you can list the members of the Elky's in the picture? :-) I can recognize one or two, but I can't tell some of the others.

Sorry, but one thing I can't do is name the owners of the cars ... I just don't know them all.
Hopefully they'll show up here and stake their claim ... that is a good idea ... I'll keep it in mind next time ... BTW, here are the pictures from PA_82Elky

Bryan - thanks for posting my 3 pictures. As always, should have taken more.
Re the request to put names to cars:
As far as I know most were not memebers here. Mine is barely visible in the pictures - the dark, Indigo Blue '82 at the far end of the line. Next one in - lighter blue 5th Gen belongs to Gene, the fellow that wants to start a local club and the orange/white '72 at the other end is Bryan's.

Hello everybody
This is John Flaharty and I am the proud owner of the third elcamino in the pictures. It is a "69" SS 396 presently running a 454 (LS6) backed by a M22 followed by a 12 bolt 3:73 posi. The orginal matching # L78 & M21 is stored in my basement. Hope to see a bigger turnout this spring when the shows start if the club comes together.

Just thought I would post the 2005 Cruise schedule for the Blue Moon Cruisers Rod & Custom Assoc. It was at one of these meets that we had the great Elky turnout last summer.

May 7 (4-7 pm)
June 4 (4-7 pm)
July 2 (4-7 pm)
August 6 (4-7 pm)
September 3 (4-7 pm)

Here is a picture to show that we can pull in 200+ cars and trucks on most Saturday cruises. This was taken later in the afternoon so there are some empty spots.
