I'd like to get some input on Line-X spray on bed liners.
The reason I ask is that there is a new Line-X dealer in my area, offering a $100 off Grand Opening special. I am wondering if I should go for it.
Let's not turn this post into a debate about which system is the best. I would just like to hear from Elky owners that have Line-X, and what your experience/satisfaction is.
Thanks.

Line-x, Rhino liner, Inyati, they all do the same thing and personally I would go with whatever one is the best price and gives the best warranty. I have a linex bedliner in my 74 and I like it but I would caution you to make sure you have any loose paint taken care of before you get it sprayed in. Especially on the sides near the top of the bed since this is the weakest area.
Also be aware that if you get a custom color mixed, they won't warranty for more than a year because the color pigment they use tends to weaken the molecular makeup of the liner material.
Line-x is fine just be sure the shop is around. Out here in the Phx, AZ area there used to be 5 of them now there's only one and its 35 miles away from me.
Also be aware that over time the liner gets this kind of brown color to it. It's trapped dirt and the only way to get rid of it is a brush and soapy water then bomb it with tire shine goop.

just had line-x put in a few weeks ago. so far so good (I use my Ekly as a partial work truck) and no complaints. only time will tell but not looking forward to the "brown" color change. I'll post more in the spring, we'll see what PA winter does to it. I agree with the paint around the top edge comment. I had loose ends on the top edge when I picked it up but they did reseal it right then.

Would it make sense to take the bed trim off, and have it srayed all the way up, then re-install the trim?
(I would be going with a black body and black line-x)
