Anyone on here know what this code is? I'm thinking about buying this rear end from someone and was double checking it.
It's supposed to be a 3.23 or 3.31 posi. What is a good way to make sure it is a posi?
Also, will a 66 El Camino rear end swap into a 66 Chevelle?

Are you sure that the Chevelle codes are the same as El Camino codes? I had read that the KF code was for a non posi chevelle in 1966.
What do you think? This rear end was supposed to have come out of a 1966 El Camino.
Thanks for your help!

As far as I know they are the same. I have a old Hollander interchage manual I can look it up this evening when I get home.

That would be great if you can look it up. The guy wants $200 for the rear end. He said the posi slips a little and probably needs rebuilt. I'm just wondering if this is worth buying...or is a good deal.
I'm going to attempt to attach some pics.

I'm sure trying to. I think it'll work on another project. Seems like a good deal to me.
