Have been looking for a site like this for years.Since finding it last week, I can hardly swallow all information in it. Picked up a 79 GMC basket case in 1999, for peanuts. Took 3 years in restoration. I just love the head turning I get. Bored out .60 / 350, 350 turbo trans does a great job. Whats killing me is that darn 2.56 open axle. Next on my plan is finding a 8.5 posi 3.42 out of a buick or olds. One day Ill figure out how to post a couple of pictures. :lol:
