I am installing a GM Ram Jet 350 into an 85 El Camino. All the wiring is done execpt 3 wires. They all come out of the harness next to each other. They are purple, gray, and white. I think 2 of them are tach outputs and one is a power wire but I don't know witch on is witch. Can anyone help me?

get a picture up here if you can. Not much info to go on. IF it follows the standard GM scheme for color coding wires the Grey is usually someting low voltage like lighting, the purple probably some kind of sensor or signalling and the white a power feed.

I wouldn't take that as gospel though. I could be way off. Maybe some folks will have some other ideas.
