Supercharged 86

Seems there is no "brakes" section so here it is. I recently bought a Buick GN rear with disk brakes that were added later. The calipers had no way to add a parking brake because they were probably front rotors. Yesterday my dad and I bought and installed F-Body calipers in there place. Queastion
1) why are the left and right calipers the same part #s? They both had the emergency brake set up and I think I can take it off the one caliper right?
2) the emergency brake cable for an F-body that we bought to go along with the calipers is about 5 times shorter than the one there for the drums now. The cable from the metal mout back to the calipers is a good length, but in front of that to the part clamp where the 2 cables meet is way too short. Did they make longer ones for other cars? Is there an extension we can buy? And the cable is rubbing really bad where it goes through the metal mount and on the back of the floor pan. How should I fix that? Just bend the mount down and find something smooth to put around the metal where it pulls through the mount?
3) How much rear fluid goes in a GN 8.5" rear? I added the posi additive (7 ounces) and 2 quarts of synthetick 75w-140 Valvoline stuff that was the best I could find. Doesn't seem to be completely full, but I can't easilly tell. The way it's set up for me, I can't just shove something in the hole and find out like dip stick or see with a flashlight. I could tilt the rear until some came out, but that still doesn't tell me how much I need. The easiest way is probably to just buy another quart and fill it until it starts to come out on a level surface, but this fill-hole seems to just be a make shift one and I can't be sure if it's at the right height.
Man, I can really talk a lot! I guess I'm just trying to weed out the bad answers and be clear. Or I'm lonely Just kidding
