Well I live in the Sunshine state and use a/c a good part of the year. Along with traffic that means heat. I recently installed the 295 dual 13" fans with control module. It can with everything to install, but I changed the mounting brackets to 1" aluminum angle on both bottom and top. I couldn't be happier, they kick on at 195 and cool it right back to 180. This summer should be the test. If the temp goes 10 more degrees above the adjusted setting, the fans change speeds from 2700 cfm to 4500 cfm. I can watch the temp gauge drop now as it is. I would recomend thes to any one.

I just installed the Flex-a-lite dual fans, also. They come on at 195 temp, like your's, plus we wired them to come on anytime the A/C is on.
Although I got the black shroud, you can get different colors, now.

I have the Flex-a-Lite dual fans for my 80 SS Elky and I have the Flex-a-Lite Black Majic Fan on my 76, just got that one haven't installed it yet it is a single electric fan but it turns some high RPM and moves a lot of air. It has a bit higher current requirements than the dual fans but I have no doubt that it will work very well. It also comes with everything you need to hook up the fan, mount it.
I have only an opinion of how good "I think" they could be neither fan set up is being used yet.
Hopefully I didn't waste a bunch of cash and they will be as good as I think they will.

You have any pics of them installed?
Did you leave the stock fan also? or delete it?

Yes you do delete the stock fan and cowl I'll try to put up some pictures for you to see. It gives a real nice view if the front of your engine and sounds much better hearing your engine and not your fan.
