hello... this is my first post but i have been reading on ECC for a while now - thanks for all the tips. I have a question about gauges.
I recently rewired my entire 1965 elky (ugh) and am considering updating the gauges since mine don't work (the fuel gauge, the amp gauge, and the temp gauge are all bad). original parts group has a gauge cluster (https://www.opgi.com/ebproductshowdetail.asp?GrpCode=23103&ProdCode=C210141) which seems to cover it all and replaces the amp gauge with a volt meter which is a nice touch and an easy wiring change.
but, this cluster is $239!!
does anyone have any other ideas? perhaps somewhere where i can send my other gauges to get fixed (not the idiot lights version but the gauge version).
