This is my first post with this fine group.

8O

Looking for info on the wheel/tire size combination that work best, without changing the body. Wheels sugestions are welcome but not too wild, just classy. 8)

Thanks,
john :D

I have been thinking of IROC wheels. The rear Iroc 16" wheels have different offsets than the fronts. Not sure if they'll fit.

Great article.

Great group also, keep up the fantasic work.

Thanks,
john

With the IROC's (so I've been told), you just reverse them...front's on the back and back's up front and they'll work

You're better off getting four front IROC rims. That's what I have on my 87.

I also like the IROCs, but have you considered a Corvette wheel? This is the '78 Pace Car wheel, but any '78-82 Corvette wheel would do.

The rims are 15X8 and tires are BFG 235/60/15. Dan, are yours Corvette rims 15X8 too?

Yep, the Vette wheels are 15x8 and I'm running BFGoodrich T/A Radial 215/65/15s all the way around. The fronts just barely cleared the SS front fascia during turns.

Yep, the Vette wheels look good too. Now the trick is to fine some.
