Looks great. The roll pan looks good painted the lower color.
But, isn't that a 79 grill?

Nope, the '79 grill had the skinny, close together bars. The grill emblem is a 79 though, it's just like the '78 emblem except shorter.

Would ya believe it's my first real (non-rattle can) paint job :D It turned out great for a novice job. It still needs to be wheels out, the blue orange peeled a bit. Definantly a learning experience! 8) Thanks for the comments :-)

Your not actually talking about painting a car with "Spray Paint" were you? :D I knew a guy once that painted a Dodge Dart with a paint brush. Looked like, well a Dodge dart with a brushed on paint job.
Your truck looks really nice. 8)
Have to agree with Ernie, with the roll pan painted silver it keeps the lines looking real clean....Great Job!

Talking about painting cars with a paint brush, my dad once painted a car (Can't remember what kind) with a broom... He mixed fire engine red, and orange, dipped the broom in the paint and painted it, he said it didn't look half bad.

Yep, I painted an S-15 2 years ago with spray cans. It actually turned out good, not very shiney, but good. The Elky got the real deal though, actual automotive (Dupont) paint and sprayed with a HVLP gravity feed spray gun 8)
