those ac vents just for looks or does it blow ac???? or just a vent for the air???

Here is what i made for my '82. I dont really have any plans for it, a buddy and i just kind of freehanded the whole thing and took measurements from the car as we went. only took a couple hours.
the subs and amp i got from CarDomain.com (http://www.cardomain.com/) and it ended up being right around 225 for carpet, wiring, subs, amp, and a sheet of 3/4" MDF

Here's how I did mine...it was a real pain in the but!! there aren't any plans available because every set-up is different depending on what subs/amp you are goin to run. -matt

Does anyone here have good system(sub(s)) with the spare tire still in the smugglers box on the passenger side? My dad wont let me take it out and I want to build a good system. Any ideas??? anyone???

It is almost impossible to build a real nice sound system whil leaving that spare tire where is. just throw that spare tire into the back of the car!

bazooka bass tubes. they are great, cheap, sound good, and don't take up much space. you can also get them either powered or get them with out an amp.

The a/c vents are real, I have a rear evaporator and blower assembly mounted in the smuggler's box...not really overkill in Texas!

I did not use any plans to make the wall, all I did was use the original carpeted curtain as a template and cut out a piece of chipboard, covered it with carpet and screwed it to the rear plastic trim below the window.

u could go with one 12 on the driverside. i have 2 12's and it's a little over kill for me. i didn't realize how loud it would be. even 1 10 with enough amps to it will hit hard.
