i have an 81 caballero with the 229 v6, and need to replace the brake booster. how do i know whether i need a single or double-type brake booster?

well i found out its a dual-type diaphragm, switched it out and fits perfectly...just gotta bleed the brakes now.

Brake booster??????? are you talking about the master cylinder or the power brake vacuum booster............I'm not sure I understood the question...........Dan
