Hey guys,

I was told last night I can get a Holley 650 double pumper for $50. Do you all think it's to much carb? I have a edelbrock 600 on it now mated to a wiend intake, Don't know the spec's on the cam but at idle has a nice lumpy sound to it so I'm assuming it's not stock and I have pre-1968 327 camelhump heads on it. Engine block is decked so can't get vin# off it but the casting # is 3970010. From what I've read on the net it's either a 302 (I really doubt that) 327, or 350.

Brain,

If your running a 600 now, then I don't see it being too big (650). I am assuming that your running a 350. But then even a 305 is good with 650 CFM. If it is a 350 then 750 is alright with a good cam possibly even 800 CFM depending on application. I had a 750 Quadra Jet on a 66 Bu with a 375 horse 327 & FI heads. Muncy 4. It was great!

If you fell like there is more at the top you havent got to yet, hey throttle up bubba. :) If you polled I'd bet most 350 owners on this forum are running a 750.
