ok first of all the sub i got has a rubber ring around it and it is covering the screw holes...do i just screw the screw threw the rubber??? and second my amp is a 200x2 and the sub max watts is 500 and rms 250(its a 8") will that amp provide enough power for it???

ok to answere your first question you should be able to move that rubber peace just enough to screw in the sub.
now your second question. your amp peaks at 200 watts per channel you can bridge it and make it just like a mono amp and get more power for your subs. to do this all you have to do is use the positive speaker out put from one side(l) of the amp and hook it up to the positive side on the speaker, then take negative side on the other speaker channel(r) and hook it up to the negative side of the speaker. if you look at the instructions that came with the amp it will tell you how to bridge the amp.

yeah i new how to bridge it i was just makin sure that with it bridged it would have enough power for it......and i dont see a way to move the rubber and screw it down....the sub is a clif design if u are familiar with it.....thanks for the reply.....ne more???

OK, heres your answer, Install what u have. If the amp isn't producing the thump you want, get a replacement that will equal your sub'z output. . Done deal. But you'd be amazed that lower watt amp can and will produce the thump you desire, with more clearity.

aight thanks man...now for the mounting it....heres a kinda bad pic of what the ring looks like..go to www.clifdesigns.com, then go to products, then to subwoofer, then to the W series.....i dont see neway to move the ring too screw it down but maybe im overlookin it.....

naw man that was for my gurl car but she still procrastinating.....idk what she wants to do....this sub for my elcamino i blew my other 8.....
